Type 1: 3D
3-D lobsters are created by filling a henna cone with slip (liquid clay) and piping each lobster on by hand. The raised texture provide an interesting feel on your hands and are sure to be a topic of conversation.
Type 2: Painted
Painted lobsters are created by painting the body then piping a black outline on a leather-hard piece of pottery. After firing a clear glaze is added to the outside and a beautiful ocean blue is added to the inside.
